Until 2017, Belgian insolvency files were entirely paper-based. Accessing or updating a case meant physically visiting the court registry. It was a slow, fragmented process for lawyers, creditors, and judges alike. With RegSol, the Central Solvency Register, every insolvency file – from the first decision to the final signature – is now digital.
Built by Aginco for the Belgian bar associations, RegSol provides a secure environment where courts, curators, magistrates, and creditors collaborate in real time.
Each user receives task notifications based on their role, making the process faster and more transparent, even for citizens without legal expertise.
RegSol is now the authentic national source for insolvency data, integrated with the Belgian Treasury and extended to judicial reorganisation procedures. Over 90.787 bankruptcy files have been processed through RegSol, and 33,000 legacy files have been migrated from former platforms.
